Website and Digital Communications Manager

 

The Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment, at the London School of Economics and Political Science is pleased to invite applications for this new full-time post.

The Institute is a world-leading research centre on the economics and policy of climate change and the environment. It is seeking to increase its engagement with academic and non-academic audiences around the world, including through its website and other digital communications. The Institute is now seeking an ambitious and talented professional with a track record of success in developing and implementing digital communications strategies and managing websites.

DETAILS

Salary: From £32,794 - £39,669 per annum inclusive

Status: Fixed term until 30th September 2018

REQUIREMENTS

The successful candidate for this role will:

  • have significant experience of managing multiple websites, including writing content, training other non-technical staff and overseeing the contributions of content providers;
  • be highly proficient in the use of social media to enhance website communications;
  • have substantial working knowledge of Contensis or comparable content management systems, and WordPress platforms; and
  • be able to excel in a higher education research environment as part of a small
    communications team.
