The Grantham Research Institute seeks to appoint a Research Fellow in its “Climate Policy and Growth” research area, with a particular focus on the economics of low-carbon energy, trade and competitiveness. The successful candidate will make a leading contribution to work in that area, provide broader research leadership across research areas and contribute to the Institute’s long-term research direction, fund raising, and impact on public debate.
Salary: From £41,451 - £47,992 per annum inclusive.
Status: Fixed term until 30th September 2018

Candidates will have completed a Ph.D. in Environmental/Resource Economics, Economics, or a related field, and will already have published articles in high-ranking, internationally recognised peer-reviewed journals.
The appointee will be expected to play an active intellectual role in the life of the Grantham Research Institute, including the Centre for Climate Change Economics and Policy, including collaborating with other research programmes, and with staff at other universities.
