Barbara Hahn's new book, 'Technology in the Industrial Revolution' analyses the wide-ranging local and global impacts of technological change in the eighteenth-century British textile industry. 

The Centre for the History of Science, Technology and Medicine at King's College London and the Department of Economic History at LSE are pleased to co-host an online event on 25 June 18:00 BST to discuss Dr Hahn's book.  You can first view Dr Hahn's 20 minute talk about the book here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p7dCR1dk0_A&feature=youtu.be

The online meeting will be hosted by Professor David Edgerton (KCL) and Dr Dominic Berry (Narrative Science Project, LSE). Professor Jane Humphries (Economic History Department, LSE) and Professor  Edgerton will lead with their personal responses to the book before opening the floor to the audience's questions for Dr Hahn.
