Dr Ai Yu

Influenced by critical and postmodern theories, I am keen to study the dynamics of organisational practices (e.g. learning, strategising, collaboration, employee engagement, social media based innovation etc.) and their real life impacts on the vast majority of organisation members and those in the wider community who are affected by the organisation’s operation.

Prior to joining the Department of Social Psychology as LSE Fellow, I was working as Lecturer in Organisational Behaviour at University of Bedfordshire. I was awarded an MRes, followed by a PhD, in Organisational and Social Psychology from the LSE, and obtained a BSc and an MSc in Business Administration from Renmin University of China

I have worked on a number of research projects in my role as research officer, consultant or project coordinator, such as the European Commission funded InCaS project and CADIC project, the Asian Development Bank commissioned Communities of Practice Assignment, the Art and Ecology Programme funded by the Royal Society of Art, and the Evaluation of its Organisational Change Programme within Luton Borough Council.

I am a fellow of the HEA. At the department of social psychology, I co-teach PS404 Organisational and Social Psychology with other colleagues. I am the course convener for PS438 Corporate Communication and a contributor to a number of optional units.
