Project Description: My project is to undertake research in preparation for writing a full biography of the Nobel laureate and social theorist Friedrich A. Hayek. Hayek held the Tooke Chair at LSE from 1932-1950. The project will involve doing interviews and visiting archives in Europe, the UK, and the United States. My co-author is Hansjoerg Klausinger, an Austrian historian of economic thought.
