Workshops and symposia

The workshop 'Conceptions and Instruments of Measurement in Economics' was held at the Centre for Philosophy of Natural and Social Sciences (CPNSS) on 30 November 2000. The speakers were:

Philip Epstein: 'Measuring the Liquidity Effect';
Marcel Boumans: 'Calibration';
Peter Rodenburg: 'Measurement Strategies of Unemployment'; and
Harro Maas: 'An Instrument Can Make a Science'.
