Julian Reiss holds the Ramón y Cajal fellowship of the Spanish Ministry of Science and Education and works in the Department of Logic and Philosophy of Science at Complutense University, Madrid. He received his PhD from the LSE in 2002 and, until October 2004, managed the CPNSS research project Causality: Metaphysics and Methods. Besides problems of causal inference in the special sciences, his research interests include experimentalism, concept formation, foundations of economic method and the interface between economics, politics and philosophy.
