On 13 September 2016, Confucius Institute For Business London(CIBL) successfully held an event to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival at King & Wood Mallesons. All the guests arrived at the venue at about 19:00 and the celebration began with an opening speech given by the host. After this, he gave a brief introduction about the festival to the guest which helped everyone learn more about Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival. The most interesting part of the event proved to be the riddle fun. CIBL prepared ten riddles for the guests, which the participants all enjoyed trying to solve. At the end of the event, CIBL Coordinator Dr Hong Lu (OBE) took part in a panel discussion about the challenges and opportunities of China-UK Business after Brexit. Throughout the event a performance of Dizi and Erhu was given by professional performers for everyone to enjoy. The event was enjoyed by all and marks the first successful collaboration between KWM and CIBL.
