On 25 February 2015, the Confucius Institute for Business London (CIBL) successfully held its first ever Chinese business culture talk at J.P Morgan in London and more than 50 staff participated in the event. J.P.Morgan is one of the biggest financial conglomerates in the world, which has a large business in China. CIBL China director Prof. Lisheng LUO gave a talk on the business Chinese culture focusing on comparative analysis of Chinese and Western business practices and how cultural differences impact the business. Dr. Hong Lu and Tsinghua intern Guan Jixuang from the CIBL showed to them the CIBL business Chinese courses, the Tsinghua Summer Chinese Programme, the CIBL business culture talks and the CIBL’s other products. J.P. Morgan staff showed their interest in the Chinese business culture and Chinese language.
