On 20 February 2015, the second day of Chinese Lunar New Year, the Confucius Institute for Business London (CIBL) held a cultural experience event at PwC Embankment Office and nearly 100 staff participated in the event. Three teachers from CIBL gave them a brief introduction to the history and cultural customs of Spring Festival as well as Chinese painting and calligraphy. CIBL’s interns also wrote Fu Zi and gave them to the staff. With the help of the interns, the staff tried to wrote their own names with Chinese brushes. In addition, teachers promoted the CIBL business Chinese courses, the Tsinghua Summer Chinese Programme, the CIBL business culture talks and the CIBL’s other products. PwC staff members showed their great interest in this cultural event and many of them are willing to participate in the Summer Programme for further experience of Chinese culture.
