On 16 February 2015 a four nation (Korea, Malaysia, Vietnam and China) celebration of the Chinese New Year was held jointly by the Confucius Institute for Business London (CIBL) and Ernst and Young.
The event began at 18:00 at the Ernst and Young Headquarters and staff members demonstrated the different customs and foods used to celebrate Spring Festival in their home countries. CIBL mandarin teacher Ms. Li Man demonstrated different traditional Chinese crafts, such as paper cutting, and introduced the various language and cultural programmes provided by CIBL.
The event was attended by over 100 E&Y staff members and through this experience they were able to expand their understanding of how people from different nations celebrate the Chinese New Year.
