From July to August 2015, CIBL successfully ran two Chinese Immersion language-teaching programmes in Cambridge. CIBL has been organising such programmes since 2011, and this year’s participants are not only included senior staff from a media company but also a PwC senior partner. During the programmes the participants were fully immersed in an all-Chinese environment with a Chinese host family. By experiencing an authentic language learning environment participants were able to achieve their desired learning objectives in a relatively short period of time. This year’s two Immersion programmes were very successful and received very positive feedback from all participants.
