On 8 June, 2015, Dr. Sande Ngalande and Prof. Heyi, directors of Confucius Institute at the University of Zambia visited the Confucius Institute for Business London(CIBL) at London School of Economics and Political Science(LSE). CIBL office manager Craig Meegan briefed to the visitors the history of CIBL, and its teaching programmes and culture events. CIBL UK director Nick Byrne welcomed the Zambia guests and talked about the initial plan for the celebration of the CIBL’s 10th anniversary in 2016 and the possibilities to co-hold a mini-conference.
Confucius Institute at the University of Zambia presented their video about their institute. They also talked about their special teaching programmes and culture events. The both sides have also discussed the issues and exchanged their views on the quality of teaching staff, allocation of teaching hours, curriculums, textbook development, ect.
