 Fudan English

On 26 October 2015, a Fudan delegation came to the London School of Economics (LSE) to deliver to LSE students and staff a demonstration in Chinese culture and a lecture on Chinese foreign policy. In the morning, a traditional Chinese concert featuring performances from the Fudan team was hosted by the Confucius Institute for Business London (CIBL) in the Shaw Library, Old Building. The event was a great success and more than 100 LSE students attended. Prof. Paul Kelly and Nick Byrne spoke at the event. Performances during the event included demonstrations of Taiji, the traditional Chinese Kongfu as well as Pipa Dizi, a famous traditional Chinese instrument. The show was appreciated by those that attended.

In the afternoon, Prof. Shen Dingli gave a lecture about China’s developments towards peace which was chaired by Nick Byrne. More than 40 students from LSE attended the lecture.
