From 18 Sep to 20 Sep 2015, Confucius Institute for Business London (CIBL) successfully held the 6th Teacher Training programme at the London School of Economics (LSE). More than 30 trainers and trainees attended from different cities in the UK such as London, Brighton and Liverpool as well as from different countries such as Russia and the Netherlands. CIBL UK director Nick Byrne and China director Prof. Lisheng Luo welcomed all the attendees to LSE.
CIBL invited to the training course Prof. Jin Yu, an expert especially appointed by Hanban as chairman to the Confucius Institute Board, Dr. Jing Fang, a teacher at Oxford University and Prof. Xinsheng Zhang from Richmond University. CIBL UK director Nick Byrne and China director Prof. Lisheng Luo, along with the invited speakers, delivered wonderful lectures to the trainees. After the training sessions, all the guests visited CIBL’s newly-refurbished office.
All the trainees spoke highly of the program and enjoyed their time there. During the 3-day intensive training, both the trainers and the trainees learnt a lot from each other and exchanged their experiences and opinions on teaching and learning business Chinese.
