On 16 May 2014, the Confucius Institute for Business London (CIBL) bade farewell its old office at 20 Kingsway and moved into a new office building. At 20 Kingsway, CIBL experienced everything from its challenging start-up period, expansion and the current happy stage of development over the past eight years.
Eight years have flown by so quickly. CIBL started as a blank piece of paper and gradually developed into a teaching unit with a special emphasis on business. Playing a role of cultural ambassador and helping more people in London get better a understanding of modern China, CIBL has gradually been recognized by the local community for its business Chinese programmes, and cultural and academic events.
The new location of CIBL’s office indicates that CIBL has gained approval and recognition from LSE, a new look and an ambition to strive for even higher goals. CIBL will definitely continue to provide high-quality business teaching services and cultural events to LSE and the local community in order to promote the friendship between the two countries.
