CIBL held a five day intensive training programme for 9 HSBC managers from 25 June -30 June 2013. This is the first time we have ever tried a group immersion business programme in London .

On 18June 2013 the Confucius Institute for Business London (CIBL) based at LSE opened its first Confucius Classroom at Dulwich College which will service the Isle of Sheppey Academy and City High Academy in Lambeth.

Each year Hanban (Confucius Institute Headquarters) organises 'Chinese Bridge', a Chinese Proficiency Competition which takes 50 of the bestChinese students in the UK, testing their Chinese language skills andcultural awareness.

 CIBL-HSBC Chinese New Year Celebration

On 19th February, 2013, the Chinese New Year Celebration was co-hosted by the Confucius Institute for Business London (CIBL) and HSBC China Affairs Department. The celebration was full of snake year elements and more than 500 attendees experienced Chinese calligraphy, painting, music and other activities.
