Chinese New Year Workshop—Dulwich College
On 23rd January, 2012, a Chinese New Year Workshop was held at Dulwich College by Confucius Institute for Business London(CIBL).
There were three sessions during the day, involving students from years 7, 8 and 9. Under the theme of "Chinese New year", New Year greetings, New Year song, and Chinese Kung Fu were taught during the workshops. The boys learned very quickly, particularly enjoying the Kung Fu session. Those who volunteered to perform were very happy when they received their prizes from CIBL.
During the lunch time, some quizzes relating to China, Chinese calligraphy, as well as New Year wish posters have been shown in the Dining Hall, which attracted many students and staff.
In short, this Chinese New Year Workshop has made many contributions to spreading Chinese language and Chinese culture. (CIBL Meng Jie Zhao Chen Shu).
