“ China Energy Landscape ”speech by BP China President
Liming Chen, BP China President, gave a lecture titled China Energy Landscape on the 17th May at the London Confucius Institute of Business London.
During the address, Chen talked about China's economic growth and momentum, energy consumption and energy mix, challenges in economic growth as well as the environmental protection and long term energy strategy. Mr Chen also answered lots of questions raised by the audience and his speech was warmly received since it contained detailed information and vivid explanation.
After the lecture, Mr Chen explained in detail China's energy development status and international development issues, but also shared his study and work experience overseas. He encouraged students who studied in the UK to learn and integrate into western culture to enable and guarantee an excellent career path.
About 200 people attended this lecture, apart from students from London School Economics, most of them come from Finance, Information Technology, Energy Industry, as well as those trading and communicating between China and UK.
