The China Postgraduate Network will hold its Fourth Annual Conference at the London School of Economics on June 30 and July 1, 2011.
The China Postgraduate Network is a large interdisciplinary network of graduate, postgraduate and postdoctoral researchers engaged in all aspects of Chinese Studies at British universities. The Annual Conference provides an opportunity for participants to present their research and receive feedback, listen to keynote speeches by leading experts and network with colleagues from across the UK. There is no guiding theme for the conference, and proposals are invited for panels or individual papers on any topic relating to the study of China. The conference will be organised into panels of three presenters and a discussant, who will comment on papers and moderate questions from the audience. Presenters will speak for approximately twenty minutes and may present work in progress, dissertations and thesis chapters or papers for publication.
Accommodation within walking distance of the London School of Economics will be provided on the nights of June 29 and June 30 for those travelling from outside London and presenting papers or chairing sessions. Further information will be posted here in due course.
