Mr. Li Rong Zhang, Minister-Counsellor and Deputy Head of Mission of the Chinese Embassy in the UK. Career diplomat, joined the Foreign Service more than 20 years ago. Worked in different departments as European, Information and General Office of the Chinese Foreign Ministry and Central Foreign Affairs Office of the State Council. Had overseas postings in the Chinese Embassy in Denmark and last time from 1996 to 2000 as Political Counsellor and DHM.

Mr. Stephen Green is Group Chairman of HSBC Holding Plc. He became Chairman of the British Bankers' Association in November 2006 and is a member of the Prime Minister's Business Council for Britain, since its inception in July 2007. He is also Trustee of the British Museum.

James Hughes-Hallett is Chairman of John Swire & Sons Ltd and a director of Swire Pacific, Cathay Pacific Airways and HSBC Holdings. He is a trustee of China Now, the Courtauld Institute of Art, the Dulwich Picture Gallery, the School of Asian and African Studies and the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation. He worked in Asia with the Swire Group from 1976 to 2005.
