HSK Test Centre

CIBL is an official HSK test centre in the UK for the HSK Department  (Hanban), National Office for Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language, People’s Republic of China.

HSK Training courses and free mock tests are offered at CIBL to help preparation for future HSK tests.

Those who achieve higher marks at different levels of HSK tests may be eligible to apply for different scholarships to study in China. Scholarship applications are processed and the places of study are determined by the Chinese scholarship awarding body.

More information about HSK is available on the Chinese Testing| website.

The HSK Test

A new HSK test level system was introduced in 2010. The new system has six levels for the paper test and three levels for the oral test. CIBL will host paper tests for HSK level 1 to level 6.

If you sit an HSK test you will need pencils and an eraser, and no dictionaries or other written materials are allowed in the room where the test takes place. Note that the test paper will be in simplified character format, unless otherwise requested upon application.
